Melissa Dalton
Head Workshop Instructor
& Shop Manager
Melissa studied Metalsmithing and Textile Design at OCADU and has been teaching at The Devil’s Workshop since 2010. She brings a lively and patient approach to her workshops, enthusiastically sharing her expertise with students. Melissa is passionate about pattern making, with Metal Printmaking as her favourite class to teach, and she also enjoys incorporating lost wax casting and smithing techniques into her personal artistic endeavours. Beyond teaching, Melissa explores surface pattern design, creating patterns & illustrations for clothing and other items during her free time.

Olivia Spence
Workshop Instructor
Olivia is an OCADU graduate (2017) from their Material Art & Design program, bringing a passion for jewellery making to her role as instructor at The Devil’s Workshop since 2018. Her positive attitude enriches each class she teaches, fostering a supportive and creative learning environment. Olivia is known for her meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that students receive comprehensive guidance in both Silversmithing and Lost Wax Casting.

Caroline Storey
Workshop Instructor
Caroline, with nearly a decade of experience in jewellery making, is a versatile instructor at The Devil’s Workshop. Specializing in Lost Wax Casting, Beading, and Glass Fusing workshops, she brings a wealth of expertise and patience to each session. Beyond jewellery, Caroline is also a talented tattoo artist, infusing her artistic sensibility into her teaching style. She encourages students to explore their creativity fully, blending technical skill with artistic expression to create unique and personalized pieces.

Sasha Oda
Workshop Instructor
Sasha studied Goldsmithing at George Brown College and has been with The Devil’s Workshop as an artist, showcasing her work in the shop for nearly 10 years. She is an accomplished jeweller with her own line, Archerade, and has been a goldsmith for over a decade. Sasha started teaching at TDW in 2023, bringing an exuberant energy to her classes in Beginner Silversmithing. Her passion for jewellery making and extensive experience enriches her teaching, ensuring students gain a greater understanding of the craft.
